A. ScottEnglish Tutor, I am an experienced teacher of English, Drama and Primary. Since 2003, I have taught a range of age groups from reception to adults, in London, Hong Kong and around the UK. I am keen to ensure that all lessons are well planned, engaging and creative with clear shared outcomes on what we are trying to achieve. In my ten years of teaching in schools, I have also achieved a Masters in Educational Practice and Research. S. NazarEnglish Examiner (GCSE): I am an enthusiastic teacher of English as an Additional Language (EAL), committed to helping students improve their skills in pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar. In addition, I have more than 20 years’ experience teaching English language and literature in UK high schools. I deliver engaging, student-centred lessons and believe that online tutoring allows for really personalised learning experiences. I aim to offer sessions that suit individual needs and can help students to prepare for entrance exams, GCSE and IGCSE.

J. StoneEnglish Examiner( GCSE, BMAT ). I began my teaching career in 1998 as I wanted to travel and work at the same time. I had no idea that it would be the teaching that I felt more passionate about! Since then, I have taught English and lived in Italy for 7 years before coming back to the UK and working in a private school for Japanese students, finally becoming an on-line English Teacher in 2013. In between that, I also qualified as an examiner and have marked many English Language Exams including all EAL, GCSEs and A Levels. For me, the most important aspects of learning are getting the student engaged and involved in the lesson and I aim to deliver these in every class. I am also aware of the less mentioned but equally as important aspects of exam preparation which are nerves and anxiety. I ensure each student is both mentally and academically prepared for their exam allowing them to do the best they can.

N. OutramMaths Tutor: I am a enthusiastic and passionate teacher of Maths with over 20 years' experience. I have taught in primary schools, preparatory schools, secondary schools and independent senior schools. I love to help my students to develop their mathematical thinking and explore the fascinating world of Maths. I can offer specialised sessions working toward 11+, 13+, GCSE and iGCSE as well as problem solving skills and higher order thinking skills.

J. WenlockEnglish Tutor (GCSE) : I graduated from Keele University as a teacher of Secondary Geography in 1996. I have followed an interesting career through Secondary teaching and after having my own children, into Primary teaching. Working with children of all ages but most recently those around eleven years old who are preparing for UK Standard Assessment Tests in all areas of the UK National Curriculum. I am the Director of Specialist Provision (SENCo) working with children who find it a challenge to access the curriculum and help them to reach their true potential. I also work with children who have English as an Additional Language (EAL Lead) and hold a qualification in teaching young EAL learners . Over the years, I have learnt that my passion in teaching is for English and most definitely for writing. Last year I tutored both year 6 students in all areas of the curriculum and English Language and Literature GCSE students, I am about keen to work with children of all ages to enhance their English reading and writing skills.

McgrathEnglish Tutor (GCSE, IB): As an experienced, UK qualified teacher who has worked in a diverse range of National and International schools my main ambition is to ensure students reach their full potential in developing their English skill sets. Whether it is for IGCSE's, Common Entrance Exams, 11+ or the IB programme my teaching approach is to create a student centred, tailored programme that takes students from where they are to where they want to be.

Through effective communication and engagement with my students, I quickly identify a student’s individual requirements; reinforce their existing strengths to build confidence, and pinpoint areas that need attention. Methods and examination techniques are tailored to the student, to develop the skills needed to access fully the questions in examinations. I have taught from Year 6 to Year 13 in a variety of school settings with focus mainly on one-to-one tuition since 2014 and moving to online tuition in early 2020. My enthusiasm for mathematics shines through in my lessons, as well as in my work as an Assessment Specialist for examination boards in the marking and writing of assessment material.
